A Simple Thanksgiving Blog Post that Strengthens Connection

November can be a busy time of year: holiday plans, family commitments, end-of-year tasks. It’s easy to put your blog on the back burner to simmer next to the turkey gravy.

But November is a great time to write a short, simple blog post of thankfulness. Clients love to see how they’re appreciated. And it’s a simple but effective way to keep your blog visible during a busy season.

Thankfulness Strengthens Connection

A thankful blog post reminds customers they are doing business with people, not just a company. It helps them connect to you on a more human level. Amid all the online noise, your thankful post makes them feel noticed. At a hectic time of year, it also reminds you of your why and brings a renewed sense of mission.

A simple thankful post shows clients how much you appreciate them. It reminds them that you really are in business to help make their lives easier. When new visitors read your post, they will be encouraged to consider doing business with someone so appreciative.

Keep It Simple, Keep It Real

A thankful post is simple and quick to write during this busy season. But it has a powerful impact. The key is to keep your words simple but genuine. Feel the gratitude first, then write. Your gratitude will shine through.

You can start with a seasonal intro: “As we prepare for Thanksgiving, we want to express our heartfelt thanks for everyone who supports our business.”

You can add a note about how much you’ve enjoyed working with clients this year: “We have enjoyed cheering our clients to success this year. We look forward to your continued success in the new year.” If you want, you can include a specific highlight that made you especially thankful this year.

Then you can close your post with seasonal good wishes: “We hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving filled with blessings.”

If you want, you can include a team photo. You might put some simple fall decorations in the photo background or add Thanksgiving-themed graphics. If you don’t have time for those extras, a simple team photo will express appreciation for your clients.

A Simple, Strong Connection

A thankful post doesn’t take long to write. You can write it with a conversational tone—just the way you would talk to a client in person. It’s a great way to keep your blog active during this busy season. It’s something your clients can read quickly, but it will make a long-lasting impact on how they see and remember your business.

Your thankful message doesn’t need to be complicated. Simple and heartfelt is best. You can write it in about 15 minutes.

This week, take some time to write your thankful post and schedule it for midweek, the week before Thanksgiving.

Remember, thankfulness is a key to growing strong connections with your customers and visitors and helping them feel genuinely appreciated—at Thanksgiving and throughout the year.

I want to take this moment to thank you, my readers, for visiting my blog. I hope you have found encouragement here. I wish for you a blessed Thanksgiving season. I am grateful for you.
